Through hands-on, field-based learning, you’ll develop the ability to confidently identify plants, understand their active compounds and effects, and apply them for food, wound care, pain management, firecraft, cordage, and more. Rather than memorizing lists, you’ll build a decision-making framework that allows you to assess risk, recognize multiple uses, and turn the natural environment into a reliable resource—whether for everyday outdoor use or high-consequence wilderness scenarios.
