Prerequisite: There is no prerequisite for this course however prior experience will be an asset

• Being physically fit is an asset
• Age recommended is 14+

This is a condensed course that combines Basic canoeing levels 1-4. Candidates will first learn all the skills from level 1-3 as tandem (2-person) canoes, they will take these skills and apply them to an introduction to solo paddling. Candidates will do may skills in this course, including pivots, circles, straight line backwards and canoe over canoe rescue.
