Basic Canoeing Level 3

Prerequisite: Basic Canoeing Level 2 or equivalent comparable skills and experience (with permission from the course director)
- Being physically fit is an asset
- Age recommended is 12+
Level 3 takes everything that was learned in Level 1 and 2 and we start to refine the skills. Candidates focus on honing their skills while paddling a tandem (2-person) canoe with little to no direction from the instructor. Self rescue of a canoe full of water and a canoe over canoe rescue are preformed by the candidates.
