CAPE CROKER LOCATION: 112 Park Rd, Neyaashiinigmiing, ON

Prerequisite: Basic Canoeing Level 3 or equivalent comparable skills and experience (with permission from the course director)

• Being physically fit is an asset
• Age recommended is 14+

Level 4 introduces candidates to paddling a canoe alone. The candidate will take all their prior knowledge as a tandem canoeist and apply some of the same techniques to manoeuvring a canoe solo. Candidates will also learn new techniques to have the canoe do what is needed to fulfil the required skills. If requirements are not achieved, additional practice sessions may be scheduled. 

• Prepare for a full day on the water.
