Prerequisite: Basic Canoeing Level 1 or equivalent comparable skills and experience (with permission from the course director)

• Being physically fit is an asset
• Age recommended is 12+

Level 2 builds on the skills introduced in Level 1, we introduce a few new techniques to help candidates improve their efficiency and precision paddling in a tandem (2-person) canoe. This course includes performing self and canoe over canoe rescues, which were introduced in level 1 but now participants get to partake in the skills.
